A little bit more than one month ago, on November 22, people interested in a design-based approach to creativity met at more than 70 locations all over the globe. They worked together in teams for 48 hours to create real-world ideas which can make a difference while being linked to other jammers all over the world. It was the first time that the Global Sustainability Jam had a hungarian chapter with almost 40 enthusiastic participants from different professional backgrounds. They had the opportunity to learn the basic concepts of Design Thinking and put them into practice. It was more than a good start for Service Design in Hungary.
On 22nd of November at 18:30 we revealed the secret theme of the jam which was a big surprise for the participants and also for one part of the organiser team; AB3. After that we started to work in five teams trying to define what does it mean for us AB3? It was an intensive weekend, but we learnt a lot, met inspirational people, had a lot of fun, became ninja game addicts thanks for people from SAP, built a time machine, worked in team, explored, brainstormed, prototyped, presented our projects and had some party.
I would like to say a special thanks for the fantastic organiser team: Szilárd Szakács (UX designer), Nicholas Magyar-Zimmerman (Design Thinking coach, SAP), Balázs Buday (Design Thinking coach, SAP), Richárd Gellai (Green Meetup), Zsófia Rét and László Ágoston (Kreater Social Innovation Agency). Antal Károlyi (Seed investor&Entrepreneur), Zoltán Bencz (Business Coach), Ágota Ruzsa (Coach, Sol Institute) and the Inspiration4 team, Boglárka Baráth (Media) and Michal Ryjak (Social Media Manager).
Thank you so much guys for your hard work and support!
